We recognize that different aspects of our shows may affect audience members in unique ways. Instead of assigning a traditional "rating" to each production, we provide the following information so you can make the best choice for you and your family, according to your own needs and preferences.

Always Something There (Sept 18 - 20)

On her 45th birthday, Samantha wakes up as her 18-year-old self in 1989, getting a second chance at friendship, love, and her dreams—set to iconic ’80s pop hits.

Always Something There is a high-energy jukebox musical packed with the biggest hits of the 1980s. Set in a suburban shopping mall, the story follows a group of teens navigating friendships, first loves, changing dreams, and the ups and downs of growing up. Featuring iconic songs from artists like Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, and more, the show is a fun, nostalgic celebration of youth, self-discovery, and finding your place in the world.

ROMANCE

Teen romances, crushes, flirtation, and relationship drama are central to the story. Some scenes include kissing and discussions of dating, but all content remains appropriate for a high school audience.

VIOLENCE

​No violence. Occasional verbal arguments and light interpersonal conflicts are portrayed in a realistic and age-appropriate manner.

Hadestown: Teen Edition (Nov 13 - 22)

Hadestown: Teen Edition reimagines two beloved Greek myths through a modern folk and jazz-inspired musical. The story follows young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice as they navigate love, sacrifice, and hope in a world divided between the bright, natural world above and the industrial underworld of Hadestown. With powerful music and timeless themes, the show explores the importance of trust, resilience, and choosing hope even in difficult times.

ROMANCE

The story centers on the relationship between Orpheus and Eurydice and includes romantic themes, affection, and a brief onstage kiss. Romantic content is presented in a wholesome and age-appropriate manner.

VIOLENCE

No graphic violence. The show contains moments of tension, emotional conflict, and themes involving loss and separation. Characters face difficult choices and consequences, but there are no depictions of physical violence.​​
